Vacuum filters for reliable pump protection

Vacuum filters remove dust and solid contaminants from the incoming air before they can enter the vacuum pump. Effective filtration reduces wear, helps maintain stable vacuum performance and lowers the risk of overheating, unplanned maintenance and equipment downtime.

Vacuum filters for industrial applications

Our vacuum filters are suitable for vacuum pumps, vacuum stations, membrane presses, vacuum bagging systems and other industrial equipment. They are commonly used in woodworking, furniture production, veneering, laminating and forming processes where dust can enter the vacuum line.

AFJ, FC and FCL vacuum filters

The available range covers compact and high-capacity vacuum systems:

  • AFJ filters provide 40 µm dust filtration with flow rates of 380 or 660 l/min.
  • FC filters use replaceable paper elements rated at 5–7 µm and cover flow rates from 250 to 6000 l/min.
  • FCL filters provide 7 µm filtration with flow rates from 125 to 415 l/min and are available with different male and female port configurations.

How to choose a vacuum filter

Select the filter according to the required flow rate, filtration rating, operating pressure and connection size. The filter capacity should match or exceed the vacuum pump airflow to avoid unnecessary pressure loss and reduced system performance.

Vacuum filter maintenance

Inspect the filter element regularly and replace it when it becomes contaminated or airflow decreases. A clogged filter restricts air movement, reduces pump performance and may increase operating temperature and energy consumption. Replacement intervals depend on dust concentration, operating time and the application.
