Description
VP-4 Vacuum Pump Station — a Professional Becker-Based Solution for Vacuum Press Bags
The VP-4 vacuum station is a reliable and compact vacuum system designed to generate and maintain stable vacuum in vacuum presses as well as in other industrial vacuum applications. The station is engineered as a ready-to-use solution for furniture manufacturing, woodworking, laminating, and veneering.
The VP-4 is built around a single-phase dry vacuum pump Becker VT 4.4, ensuring high reliability, stable performance, and long service life under daily operation.
The Core of the System — Becker VT 4.4 Dry Vacuum Pump
The VP-4 vacuum pump station is equipped with a dry rotary vane vacuum pump Becker VT 4.4. The pump is oil-free, features low noise levels, and requires minimal maintenance, making it an optimal choice for woodworking shops and small manufacturing facilities.
To protect the vacuum system, the Becker pump is fitted with an integrated non-return valve that prevents vacuum loss when the pump is stopped. An additional vacuum filter is installed to protect the pump from dust and contamination, extending its service life. The filter is located at the rear of the housing for easy access and maintenance.
Vacuum Control and Operating Parameters
For precise adjustment and visual monitoring of the vacuum level, the front panel of the VP-4 vacuum station is equipped with a vacuum regulator and a vacuum gauge with a scale from 0 to –1 bar. This allows the operator to easily control the process and maintain optimal vacuum pressing parameters.
Under normal atmospheric conditions, the VP-4 vacuum station provides a working vacuum of up to –0.85 bar, fully meeting the requirements of most vacuum and membrane presses.
Connections and Interfaces
A quick-release coupling is used to connect vacuum consumers. The KD-4 vacuum port (socket) is equipped with an integrated non-return valve to prevent vacuum loss when equipment is disconnected.
Please note: the KS-4 quick-release coupling is not included in the standard scope of delivery and must be ordered separately or together with a connecting vacuum hose.
Electrical connection is made using a standard IEC power cable. The power connector is located on the rear panel of the vacuum station. The power cable is included in the delivery.
Design and Operation
The housing of the VP-4 vacuum station is made of durable 2 mm sheet metal and finished with powder coating, providing protection against mechanical damage and corrosion in industrial environments.
The VP-4 vacuum system operates in manual mode and is not equipped with an automatic start/stop function. For ease of operation, the station features a two-position switch and a signal indicator that allow easy monitoring of the system status.
Applications of the VP-4 Vacuum Station
- vacuum press bags and membrane presses;
- furniture manufacturing and woodworking;
- veneering and laminating.
A Ready-to-Use Vacuum Solution
When purchasing the VP-4 vacuum pump station, you receive a fully assembled and ready-to-operate solution for vacuum generation. The station does not require complex installation and can be easily integrated into existing production processes.
The VP-4 is the optimal choice for individual craftsmen and small workshops that require a reliable vacuum station based on proven Becker equipment, offering simple operation, stable performance, and long service life.
