Silicone Membrane 2 mm – 1600x3300 mm for Composite Material Forming

The SM-40 silicone membrane with a thickness of 2 mm is a professional consumable used in vacuum and membrane presses for forming artificial stone, acrylic sheets, thermoplastics, and composite materials. The membrane is fully compatible with the GLOBAL STANDARD VP-S-3113 vacuum press with a working table of 1300x3300 mm. Thanks to its elasticity, the membrane easily follows complex geometries and ensures even pressure distribution across the entire surface.

High heat resistance and elasticity

Manufactured from industrial-grade silicone compound ASU-4079, the membrane has a hardness of 40 Shore A and combines high elasticity of up to 700% with an operating temperature of up to 200 °C. The 2 mm thickness ensures precise forming of complex shapes, uniform contact, and no marks left on the material. The semi-transparent milky-beige tint allows easy control of workpiece positioning during the process, which is especially important when working with shaped elements.
